Product Introduction
Fine Molds 1/35 Military Series Imperial Japanese Army Type 95 Ha-Go Late Model (No. 4335/Returned December 2022) Plastic Model 36501
The Type 95 light tank was officially adopted by the Imperial Japanese Army in 1935.
From the Second Sino-Japanese War through the Pacific War and the end of the war, it was used in every region the Japanese military deployed, from the Kuril Islands in the north to the Marshall Islands in the south.
Despite being the most widely produced Japanese tank both before and after the war, there are no surviving vehicles in Japan, with only a few remaining overseas.
Therefore, with the help of the nonprofit organization "Association for Creating a Defense Technology Museum," which aims to open a (tentative name) Defense Technology Museum with the aim of preserving the history of Japan's machinery industry through the exhibition of defense equipment, and through donations from volunteers, we have purchased and restored the surviving vehicle remaining in Europe and made its return to Japan a reality.
This product is based on the "North Manchuria class" model, which was released as a new mold in 2016, with some parts modified to reflect the so-called "late model." It also includes a close-up photo book of the returning vehicle as reference material.
This product is a plastic model that requires assembly and painting.
Separate adhesives, tools, paints, etc. are required for assembly and painting.
