The first installment of the Metal Gear collection: METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.1
The Metal Gear series is all about the extreme tension of "infiltrating without being detected." Born from a reversal of the typical action game concept of "avoiding combat and infiltrating without being detected," this innovative series created a new genre: stealth action games (hide-and-seek action). The first game, "METAL GEAR," was released in 1987, and the series celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2022.
