Dear Morocco's babouches are made using the highest quality leather possible, so they have one of the few smells among Moroccan babouches, but this smell will disappear as you use them. These original babouches are hand-embroidered with sabra thread, a lustrous natural fiber extracted from cacti, also known as Moroccan silk. The design features an octagram, a motif that represents eternity and perfection. "Almond" is a color between birch (beige) and brown. It looks great whether you arrange it in a gradation from beige to dark brown, or combine it with greens and blues for an earthy color scheme. Incidentally, almonds are trees found throughout Morocco, and when the almond blossoms, which resemble cherry blossoms, bloom, it signals the end of winter. The fruit can be roasted and eaten as is, or used as an ingredient in tagine. ＜Babouche＞ Babouches are traditional Moroccan footwear with a flattened heel. ＜Natural Materials＞ Both the exterior and interior are made from natural materials.
