Deep renewal. Complex effect. Skin transformation.
⸻
Ingredients: Ethyl alcohol, lactic acid, salicylic acid, resorcinol.
⸻
Purpose:
Jessner peeling is a multi-component chemical procedure that combines three active ingredients that provide a pronounced exfoliating, antiseptic and rejuvenating effect. Recommended for:
• actinic keratosis (thickening of the stratum corneum);
• pronounced hyperpigmentation;
• age-related skin changes;
• oily seborrhea;
• acne (acne, post-acne);
• fine wrinkles;
• disruption of skin texture and microrelief;
• solar and senile lentigo;
• freckles and other forms of pigmentation.
⸻
Mechanism of action:
Jessner's solution works due to the synergy of three acids:
• Lactic acid - moisturizes, regulates pH levels, stimulates cell renewal and collagen synthesis, helps lighten hyperpigmentation.
• Salicylic acid - penetrates pores, eliminates excess sebum and dead cells, has a pronounced keratolytic and anti-inflammatory effect.
• Resorcinol - an antiseptic and a powerful keratolytic, helps eliminate inflammation, normalizes the sebaceous glands, has an astringent and bactericidal effect.
This formula makes the peeling effective in treating a variety of dermatological problems, including acne and pigmentation disorders.
⸻
Contraindications:
• Individual sensitivity to the components;
• Pregnancy and lactation;
• Diabetes mellitus;
• Herpes infection in the active phase;
• Acute dermatoses and pustular rashes;
• Damage to the skin;
• Autoimmune diseases;
• Skin sensitivity;
• Hypertension in the decompensation stage;
• Infectious mycoses (trichophytosis, microsporia, etc.).
Protocol for the procedure:
1. Skin preparation:
Before applying the composition, the skin is thoroughly cleaned of dirt and makeup residue, then degreased with a special preparation. This stage is necessary for uniform penetration of the active components.
2. Application of the peeling:
The peeling is applied in a thin layer using a brush, strictly observing the sequence: forehead → temples → cheeks → nose → chin. If necessary, the area under the lower jaw is also treated.
A slight burning sensation, warmth or tingling may occur - this is a normal reaction to the active substances.
3. Number of layers:
Depending on the clinical task and individual sensitivity of the skin, 2 to 4 layers can be applied. Each subsequent layer is applied after a visual assessment of the skin's reaction to the previous one.
4. Rinsing:
The peeling is not washed off. The composition is left on the skin to neutralize on its own. After 12-14 hours, washing with acidified warm water (for example, with the addition of citric acid or apple cider vinegar in a weak concentration) is allowed.
5. Completion of the procedure:
After the procedure, a soothing and restorative cream with a high SPF level is applied to the skin. It is important to avoid insolation and ensure careful protection from ultraviolet radiation during the entire course of procedures.
