Printed coil method using a 6μm diaphragm and silver/aluminum mixed material: The diaphragm used in the FT5 uses a PAR material diaphragm with a thickness of 6μm. The planar magnetic field method uses a printed coil method in which a metal material is installed on the material in order to drive the diaphragm sandwiched between magnets. Since using heavy metals such as gold would increase the weight of the diaphragm, the FT5's diaphragm uses semiconductor technology to precisely print aluminum material containing silver. This provides excellent conductivity and reduces the weight of the diaphragm, providing natural and distortion-free sound quality.
A total of 20 neodymium magnets create a strong planar magnetic field: FT5 uses 20 neodymium magnets per channel to ensure that the diaphragm can drive in a stress-free and well-balanced manner. Eleven N52 neodymium magnets with a magnetic flux density of approximately 1.5 Tesla are placed on the front and nine on the rear, and the printed coil is sandwiched between them. Efficient magnet placement maximizes the potential of the diaphragm.
High-sensitivity, low-impedance design for ease of sound: The FT5 uses a 6μm thin diaphragm to solve the problem of low sensitivity and the need for a large-scale amplifier to sufficiently drive the conventional planar magnetic field method. The high sensitivity of 110dB/1Vrms@1kHz and the low impedance of 36Ω are achieved by the printed coil and strong magnetic field. Even portable players and low-output amplifiers can be sufficiently driven, allowing you to fully experience the product's appeal in any environment.
Open structure to effectively control driver back pressure: FT5 uses an open structure to effectively release back pressure without sealing the back of the housing. It has a unique swirl design that precisely controls air flow to achieve high resolution and natural tone.
