Two 3.5" (87.6 mm) countersink slots are for mounting balancing devices. The 0.25" (6.4 mm) wide slots can hold M6 and 1/4" screws. Each slot also has three 3/8" threaded holes (M8 countersinks) spaced 1.4" (35 mm) apart.
Twenty 1/4" threaded holes on either side of the countersunk slots are spaced 0.8" (20mm) apart. These holes allow for mounting a variety of devices with matching screws.
It has a scale that allows you to find the exact position to mount your equipment for astrophotography, stargazing, night sky observation and celestial observation.
