"Denshoku Satsuma Kiriko" is the beauty of Satsuma born from traditional and modern techniques. Satsuma Kiriko flourished from the end of the Edo period to the beginning of the Meiji period, but artisans who inherited the designs and techniques passed down from their predecessors have revived it with modern techniques and ideas. With the desire to convey to future generations the charm of Satsuma Kiriko, which has continued to shine since that time, these works, called "Denshoku Satsuma Kiriko," were created in the spirit of learning from the past and creating something new.
Precautions for use: After use, wash by hand with a soft sponge using a neutral detergent and wipe off all water. (If you let it dry naturally, it may cause water stains.) Also, since it is not heat resistant, please be careful not to pour boiling water into it as it will be damaged.
