Product Introduction
This is the Armory "1/72 MiG-3 Late Model 1941" plastic model kit.
The MiG-3 was developed by the Soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich Design Bureau and operated by the Soviet Red Air Force. Its role was later changed to that of a tactical reconnaissance aircraft.
This aircraft first flew in 1940, but production ceased when the AM-35 engine it was powered by was discontinued.
Ultimately, approximately 3,000 aircraft (some estimates say approximately 3,300) were produced.
The kit includes paint mask stickers, photo-etched parts, and 14 decals depicting the 1941-1942 Soviet Air Force.
This product requires assembly and painting.
