Kathy Mam Island Style Hawaiian Quilt Pattern Bath Towel, Mele Ohana Series: Produced by Hawaiian quilt artist Kathy Nakajima, this Hawaiian quilt pattern bath towel features a motif of Hawaii's signature plants, creating a resort-inspired feel. Perfect for the bathroom, beach, or pool, it's also recommended as an interior accent piece, draped over a sofa or placed under your feet. It's perfect for the whole family, making it a perfect gift.
[Size] Approx. 60cm wide x 120cm long [Color] Tuberose Turquoise
[About the Pattern] Tuberose Turquoise: It may not be very familiar in Japan, but some people may have heard of it because it is often used in perfumes. It blooms beautiful milky white flowers and gives off an elegant and sensual scent that is said to be the sexiest of all floral scents.
[Towel Features] This towel is made from a specially twisted, lustrous cotton. Its soft texture and excellent absorbency make it a versatile material. The pattern features a soft, fluffy, untwisted pile yarn, while the background is made from a smooth, twisted pile yarn. The outline of the pattern is created using a "drop" technique, which leaves the woven fabric visible without revealing the pile, creating a three-dimensional quilt effect.
[Mele Ohana Series] In Hawaiian, "song" is "mele." Just as people weave flowers and plants into leis, Hawaiians weave words to create mele. These mele praise people, events, and places. Combined with "ohana," which means family, it becomes a "family song." This series is filled with Cathy Mum's hope that using or displaying Cathy Mum towels at home will bring bright and happy days to the whole family.
