Product Introduction
[A thorough dissection of a legendary machine using the latest molds]
The RC166 was the ultimate six-cylinder engine developed by Honda to dominate the 1966 World Road Racing Grand Prix 250cc class. Despite its 250cc displacement, this four-stroke engine boasted a sophisticated in-line six-cylinder DOHC four-valve mechanism, producing a maximum output of over 60 horsepower at an incredible 18,000 rpm. Riding by renowned rider Mike Hailwood, the RC166 demonstrated its overwhelming dominance, winning all ten races it competed in, securing both the rider's and manufacturer's titles in 1966. It also played a key role in Honda's domination of all five classes of the World Road Racing Grand Prix that year. This legendary machine, which wrote a glorious chapter in Honda's racing history, has been brought to life in 1/12 scale using the latest molding technology.
