The pitch is displayed large in the center of the display. The current pitch is displayed at the top and bottom of the display. If the bottom of the display is lit, the pitch is low, and if the top is lit, the pitch is high. When the pitch is correct, the center of the display lights up, making for simple, intuitive operation. When the center of the display is lit (in tune), it indicates that the pitch is accurate to within ±2 cents.
