This cookbook by Annick, a Canadian metal gal who publishes the MORBID TALES fanzine, is original and fun! She also had a cooking section in the MORBID TALES fanzine, and she solicited recipes from metal musicians all over the world, which she then demonstrated and explained. The people who provided the recipes are amazing. The lineup includes Hellhammer, drummer for MAYHEM, heavyweights of evil death/black metal such as AUTOPSY, BLASPHEMY, SADISTIK EXEKUTION, MUTIILATION, etc., who are hardly suitable for this cuisine, Baron AMEBIX, Yasuyuki from ABIGAIL, Jamie from MIDNIGHT, Joel from TOXIC HOLOCAUST, Goddess from CHILDREN OF TECHNOLOGY, INEPSY, BASTARDATOR, AFTER THE BOMBS, etc., familiar members of thrash/metal punk bands, Dan Beeler from EXCITER, Scott Ian from ANTHRAX, Schmeer from DESTRUCTION, Mille Petrozza from KREATOR, A.C. Wilde from BULLDOZER, Jeff Becerra from POSSESSED, and other distinguished figures who shaped the early days of thrash metal, as well as Udo Dirkschneider from ACCEPT, THIN Scott Gorham of LIZZY and the mother of the late Phil Lynott, Wino of OBSESSED/SAINT VITUS, Bobby Liebling of PENTAGRAM, URIAH HEEP, BUDGIE, SIR LORD BALTIMORE, PAGAN ALTAR, TYGERS OF PAN TANG, etc., are featured, including such veteran and super-heavyweights that you wouldn't normally contact and offer them a job! And all the dishes look so delicious! Categorized into meat dishes, vegetarian food, desserts, drinks, etc., like the cake recipe by WARLOCK's Doro-nee-san, they are all great dishes that you would see in a restaurant. Of course, there are also photos scattered throughout of other things besides the food, such as the recipe providers themselves and rare metal items such as records/cassettes/goods, making it a really fun book to look at! !
