Electro-harmonix ABOUT electro-harmonix Electro Harmonix was founded in October 1968 by Mike Matthews. The first product was a fuzz pedal called the Axis Fuzztone. After that, the linear power booster "LPB-1", a model that could be called the original booster, created with Bob Mayer, an engineer at Bell Laboratories, who won numerous Nobel Prizes in Physics, became a big hit, and the Electro Harmonix brand became widely known, even though it was only sold by mail order. The [STATUS LED] above the ON/OFF switch lights up in different colors depending on the flanger position when the effect is on.
