【Voltage Compatibility】
When using electrical appliances, please note that they are designed for Japanese voltage specifications (90-110V), so if you use them with a different voltage, it may cause a malfunction.
【Plug Type】
Our products use Japanese plug types (A or B type).
Please use a conversion adapter if necessary.
【Important Note on Transformers and Adapters】
A transformer adjusts voltage to match your device’s requirements.
A conversion adapter only changes the plug shape and does not adjust voltage.
Using only a conversion adapter without a transformer may result in damage to the product.
【Liability】
We are not responsible for malfunctions or damages caused by improper use, such as operating the product without a transformer.

A limited edition modified version of STONK BOX in collaboration with guitarist/composer David Torn.
Germanium Fuzz with original STONK BOX "Thermal Bias Control"
Reproduction of the original “MK1” sound
"Thermal bias control" function brings out the best sound
advised control
STÖRKN B0kš is a limited edition modification of STONK BOX in collaboration with guitarist/composer David Torn.
David Torn is a player who has also participated in works by David Sylvian, David Bowie, and Ryuichi Sakamoto. He is famous as a superb guitarist who plays a wide range of genres, including jazz, fusion, and rock.
This time, the name is a mix of the names "Torn" and "STONK BOX".
This is a germanium Fuzz with the original STONK BOX "thermal bias control".
While reproducing the "Bender MK1 FUZZ" sound of the 1960s, we eliminated concerns about stability, which was a weak point at the time.
It uses two germanium transistors, 2N527 and 2N404, and is designed using 60's Fuzz circuit theory to maximize its potential. In addition, it is equipped with the "Thermal Bias Control" function, which is a feature of this machine.
David Torn was also involved in the development of STONK BOX, and is also a regular user of STONK BOX.
However, when David incorporated it into his board, he cut the low range so that it could be used for down-tuning.
Following this, by adding a BASS control to the STÖRKN B0kš, by lowering the BASS, it is now possible to reproduce the thin low range of the early Zonk Machine, which is the origin of the name "STONK".
The OSCILLATION switch is also one of the unique features added to the STÖRKN B0kš.
When turned on, it passes through a diode circuit and adds positive feedback, allowing you to create mysterious sounds reminiscent of noise-based sound pioneer David Torn.
I can't say it's a recommended feature, but by adjusting TRIM, VOLUME, and TONE, you can change the sound to a variety of sounds, from a piyo-piyo sound to a thick, octave-like sound. TRIM in particular has a large effect; at maximum it will oscillate, but by narrowing it down it will change to a practical sound that blends well with the sound.
● Reproduction of the original “MK1” sound
The Bender MK1 sound is one of the most difficult fuzzes to reproduce due to the difficulty in selecting transistors. Benson's unique patented technology solves this problem and allows you to consistently produce highly reproducible MK1 sounds.
● "Thermal bias control" function brings out the best sound
Germanium transistors are very sensitive and the bias between the capacitors changes depending on the temperature of the capacitor. When this machine is turned on, the heater automatically and gently warms the condenser to the appropriate temperature. Therefore, you can get the best performance regardless of the outside temperature. Since you need to wait until the temperature reaches the appropriate temperature, it takes 2 to 3 minutes after turning on the power until you can start using it.
After powering on, the LED will turn orange. This is a "warming up" display, increasing the hFE (transistor gain) to the specified value and adjusting the bias to get the correct voltage. When the temperature reaches the appropriate temperature, the heater will turn off and the LED will turn green, indicating that it is ready.
The LED may go back and forth between orange and green during operation, but this is not a malfunction. Operate the heater as necessary to keep the circuit at the correct temperature.
This unit is designed to operate normally at a temperature of approximately 37.8°C. As a result of our tests, we were so particular about the temperature that we chose white as the color of the case because under direct sunlight, the internal temperature of a white case was approximately 7 degrees Celsius lower than that of a black case.
*Never touch the internal trim controls. The balance between the heating temperature and the LED indicator will be disrupted.
● Advised control
Controls not found on the original MK1 have been added, allowing for even more detailed sound adjustments.
・TRIM: Adjusts the volume (gain) before entering the two germanium transistors.
・FILTER: Adjusts the gain and bias point of the first stage of the gain stage.
Lower settings remove the amount of distortion and low frequencies, allowing picking nuances to be heard more effectively.
The sound changes depending on the interaction with TRIM.
・TONE: A low-pass filter that is effective at the end of the circuit. Adjusts the sound dropout that could not be solved with the original.
・VOLUME: Adjust the overall final volume. If it is raised too high, it may cause howling or noise on the amplifier side, so please adjust it to an appropriate balance.
