Spark plug test principle:
In automotive ignition system, the high voltage ignition coil generates a high voltage (10000 volts or more), and the spark plug redirects it from a high voltage ignition coil to the cylinder engine, the spark between the spark plug electrodes will ignite the mixture. The detector could detect the good spark plugs by the strength of the spark from the poor.

1. Place the spark plug in tester holes 1 or 2. If you want to compare the new spark plug and the old one, place the new spark plug in holes 1 and the old one in holes 2.
2. Connect to the power supply.
3. Turn the key switch 4 clockwise to turn on the tester. The display 3 lights up, the tester now works at 1000 rpm.
4. Turn again the key switch 4 clockwise, you can adjust the working frequency between 1000 rpm to 5000 rpm.
5. The higher the frequency, the stronger the spark strength.
