Note:
In many loudspeaker failures, the problem is often the fault of the loudspeaker itself. In particular, there are defects in the horn installation position of some car designs, and it is easy to make the horn wet by rain when it rains, causing damage to the horn. When a fault occurs, refer to the following steps to check it.
Sometimes it doesn't ring:
Horn switch, if the horn sometimes rings, sometimes does not ring, mostly the contact inside the horn switch is not good, and some are also the problem of the horn itself.
Hoarse voice:
Mostly due to poor plug contact, especially the various contacts around the steering disc, due to frequent use, it is easy to wear the contacts.
Not sound at all:
First check the fuse to see if it is blown, then unplug the horn plug, and use a multimeter to measure whether there is electricity when the horn switch is pressed. If there is no power, check the horn harness and horn relay; If there is electricity, it is the problem of the horn itself, at this time you can also try to adjust the adjustment nut on the horn to see whether it can sound, if it still does not ring, you need to replace the horn.
Other tips:
The horn should be installed away from the engine.
When installing the horn 45° inclined downward, so as not to water out.
Do not hold the horn for a long time, generally not more than 30 seconds.
If the horn does not work stably, check the following: 1.Whether the copper terminal is loose or disconnected 2. whether the battery power is sufficient 3.whether the horn cable is too thin 4.whether the horn button is damaged.
