OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. For accurate reading, please wait20 minutes since your last drink before performing test. Tongue and esophagus absorb alcohol and 20 minutes are needed for accurate measurement. 2. Insert a mouthpiece into the mouthpiece opening. 3. Press the Power/Mode Button. After beep the unit will count down from 15 reading “Warm up". This warm-up process prepares the sensor. 4. As the countdown approaches 0, take a deep breath and blow into the mouthpiece when you hear the beep at 0. Continue blowing until you hear a beep. 5. Once the sensor has analyzed the breath sample, the estimated value is displayed.
