XyliMelts are oral adhesive disks that adhere to the teeth or gums and are used to relieve persistent dry mouth. Take XyliMelts during the day or while you sleep to temporarily relieve frequent thirst, a sticky dry mouth and throat, and other unpleasant symptoms of dry mouth. Made with xylitol, a natural sweetener that helps stimulate saliva flow, XyliMelts use adhesive disc technology to slowly release 550mg of xylitol. This xylitol is most effective when released continuously and lasts long in the mouth, especially when taken during sleep when saliva flow is lowest. XyliMelts last for hours and moisturize, coating the mouth for optimal comfort. How to use: Attach the white side to the outside of the lower or upper molars where the gums and teeth meet. Push with your tongue to find a comfortable spot. Leave it on for 10 seconds. Attach the colored adhesive side to the gums of the upper or lower molars and/or molars, with the white side facing your cheek. Apply one on each side at bedtime, totaling two. Use as needed during the day. Eating foods high in sugar and starch as snacks can easily cause cavities. Xylitol does not cause cavities and has a cavity-preventing effect.
