This is a full metal chronograph of the analog "2100" series developed inheriting the concept of G-SHOCK's first model "DW-5000C". While the case, bezel, and band are made of stainless steel, it inherits the octagonal bezel shape and band dimple design that were also used on the DW-5000C, which was released in 1983. By implementing a fine resin cushioning material between the bezel and the case, a shock-resistant structure with a metal exterior is possible. The bezel is shaped into a three-dimensional shape through a time-consuming process of forging, cutting, and polishing, with a circular hairline on the top and a beautiful mirror polish on the slope. The indexes and in-dial rings are delicately shaped using micro-machining technology, and are finished with a high quality texture through vapor deposition. The screw-lock crown is designed in the same octagonal shape as the bezel. This contributes to miniaturization while maintaining impact resistance. A slim, high-performance module is installed using high-density mounting technology, resulting in a thinner product. We also paid special attention to comfort. It connects to a dedicated app via Bluetooth® communication, acquires time information, and keeps accurate time. It also has practical features such as tough solar power and high-brightness LED lights.
