The HB-E210 series is a diesel car owned by JR East that appeared in 2015.
The same series was manufactured as a dedicated vehicle for the Senseki Tohoku Line, which runs directly from Sendai Station on the Tohoku Main Line to Ishinomaki Station on the Senseki Line via a connecting line.
The shape of the car body is based on the E129 series train, and because it runs directly between the AC electrified section of the Tohoku Main Line and the DC electrified section of the Senseki Line, it is equipped with a diesel hybrid system.
Additionally, on the Senseki Tohoku Line, as of September 2024, a special rapid train is operating once a day, connecting Sendai Station and Ishinomaki Station in as little as 49 minutes.
This product is based on the image of the current main operation, and is reproduced in a four-car form with two HB-E210 series combined.
By using the separately sold power unit and N scale running parts, it can be run as an N scale railway model.
We recommend TM-14 (20m class A2) for the power unit and TT-04R for the traveling parts set.
